Set reporting scope for software products
Overview
The Set Reporting Scope action allows picking specific software products to be included into reports and charts of the License Management application.
Only reported software products are considered in charts under the Home navigation item and in all reports in the Reports navigation item.
All software products included into reporting are listed under Software Compliance > Reported. The Compliance Reporting field on a software preview indicates whether the software is reported or not.
How to set the reporting scope
To include a software product into the reporting scope:
- Go to Software Compliance > All and select the required software product(s).
- Run the Set Reporting Scope action. The wizard notifies you whether the software product is being included or excluded from reporting.
If the system contains software products belonging to different company codes, the same software product can be reported for one company code and excluded from reporting for another company code.
