Action: User & Groups
Applies for EMv6 & EMv7.
"User & Groups" is one of many actions that can be used in the Enterprise Manager to modify a sequence, as illustrated in the following screenshot.
If the "User & Groups" action is selected, the following window is displayed with additional configuration options with various alternatives to share information.
Two options are available:
- Local users and groups
- Active Directory users and groups
If you select local users and groups as target, the following window is displayed:
For the user object, ONLY a variable can be used!
For the group object you can specify either a fixed group name or a variable!
EM ONLY edits existing users and groups and does not create new objects!
The "Mode" options allow you to create or remove an object.
If you select Active Directory users and groups as target, the window looks as follows:
Users and groups can be specified as fixed values or variables!
EM ONLY edits existing users and groups and does not create new objects!
