Action: Download Software Package

Applies for EMv6 & EMv7.

 

"Download Software Package" is one of many actions that can be used in the Enterprise Manager to modify a sequence, as illustrated in the following screenshot.

If the "Download Software Package" action is selected, the following window is displayed with additional configuration options with various alternatives to share information.

A window with all packages will open for selection (application download is not possible). Select a package to be downloaded and specify a download path. 


If you specify a folder that is not available yet, it will also be created by the EM Agent.

For this purpose, the 'SYSTEM' user is used, rather than the logged-in user.

If you forget to provide specifications or leave this field empty, the administrator will receive an alert and will be prompted to specify the download path.
