Action: Create/ Remove Registry Value

Applies for EMv6 & EMv7.

"Create/ Remove Registry Value" is one of many actions that can be used in the Enterprise Manager to modify a sequence, as illustrated in the following screenshot.

If the "Create/ Remove Registry Value" action is selected, the following window is displayed with additional configuration options with various alternatives to share information.

The window is divided into the sections "Mode", "Key" and "Value.

Mode:

"Mode" allows you to either create or remove a key.

Key:

Use the "Key" option to specify the registry path/key. You can also enter a fixed value or set a variable, which allows the administrator or the end user to specify a path himself when creating a task.

Value:

The last configuration section is used to specify the name, type and value to be created or deleted in the registry key. Name and value can be specified as fixed value or as variable, and the type can be selected, based on a list.

The value of the key can only be specified in decimal!

If you select "Delete Key" at the beginning, unnecessary fields in the lower section will be automatically grayed out.
