Report - License Inventory
Overview
This report displays a list of purchased licenses with the most relevant key information on usage rights provided by these licenses.
To display the report values a reporting date must be selected.
The report can be filtered by:
- Company Code
- License Model
- Software Product
- Organizational Unit
- Publisher
- License Custodian
Top 10 Used Purchased Licenses
At the top of the report, you can see an overview table and a bar chart. They display usage rights purchased with licenses for top 10 software products.
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| Purchased | Number of purchased usage rights. |
| Provided | Number of purchased usage rights that are available for entitlements. |
| Used | Number of usage rights that are actually used for entitlements. |
Report per software product
In the detail area, the report displays license inventory data for all software products grouped by publisher.
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| Purchased | Number of purchased usage rights. |
| Stock | Number of usage rights that are available for entitlements (Valid minus Upgraded). |
| Valid | Number of purchased usage rights that were successfully validated. |
| Upgraded | Number of usage rights that are used as base for other purchased licenses. |
| Used | Number of usage rights that are actually used for entitlements. |
| Unused | Number of available usage rights that are not used for entitlements (free usage rights). |
| Shortage | Number of required usage rights that could not be entitled (missing usage rights). |
| License Custodian | Explicit delegation of license provisioning (organizational unit). |
You can click on values in the table to drill down into all licenses purchased for a certain software product.
