Functional Changes

We are excited to announce the release of Matrix42 Enterprise ITSM/ESM and Platform — 12.1 Update 3, delivering AI-powered text enhancement, smarter reporting, optimized user experience, and extended service management capabilities — helping customers drive more value from the platform.

Here’s what’s new in this release:

AI-Powered Text Enhancement enables users to improve text clarity and quality across Service Desk, Service Catalog, and Administration with a single click, ensuring professional and consistent communication.

Smarter Reporting introduces Reporting Subscriptions, allowing users and managers to schedule and receive reports via email (PDF, PNG, JPG), with centralized control and visibility through a new Admin Report Dashboard. Enhanced Self-Service Portal Reports (Cost Center Invoice, Cost Trends, Ordered Services, SLA/OLA Compliance) provide decision-makers with actionable insights on service usage and performance.

Optimized User Experience & Compatibility: Classic Service Forms are now fully compatible with New Look thanks to improved dialog layout and spacing. Multi-recipient request handling in Service Catalog is also enhanced for a better ordering experience.

Extended Capabilities include automated clean-up for archived data, new MSP-specific login pages with branded themes per OrgUnit, and full migration of EQM Dashboards to the modern Reporting Toolkit.

    Workaround: restart iis and click retry to continue with update
  3. 507595: Administration->Reports -> Subscriptions: Export fails with exception

The setup program can be used to update existing installations of product version 8.0.2 or higher.
