Profile Management

Overview

The Profile Management feature in M42 FastViewer allows administrators to create and assign standardized connection settings for client devices. Profiles ensure consistent security, access behavior, and user experience across systems. Profiles can be assigned to individual devices or folders (locations), making it easier to scale and manage remote access configurations.

When connecting to clients, the currently selected profile ("Current profile") is displayed in the connection window.

If Connect using alternative profile is selected, then another profile can be selected from the “Pick profile” window using the dropdown menu.
