Empirum Data Provider for 12.1.1 LTSB (Internal)
Overview
Matrix42 provides dedicated versions of the Empirum Inventory and Service Provisioning Data Providers for customers which use the ESMP 12.1.1 LTSB version and are in premium support.
The Empirum data providers for 12.1.1 LTSB are only available as separate Extensions which need to be installed manually.
- Empirum Inventory Data Provider for 12.1.1 has the version 1.0.5.20.
- Empirum Service Provisioning for 12.1.1 has the version 1.0.2.7.
The Empirum service provisioning extension has the UEM extension as prerequisite. As the latest released version of UEM requires ESMP 12.1.2 the installation via Extension Gallery does not work.
Compatibility to Empirum
The performance and reliability enhancements of this version require Empirum 23.0.3 or newer.
Limitations of the LTSB version
The following known issues have no impact on the functionality but need to be considered:
- PRB38684: Implement option to solve provisioning task by using obsolete which sets the provisioning to success in uninstallations
- PRB38765: Failed to delete empirum task. Code:0; Reason:Incorrect syntax near 'where'. (under rare circumstances)
For monitoring or troubleshooting the HostCommon.log can be reviewed.
Installation
- Install the newest available Generic Computer Import Extension via Extension Gallery.
- Open in the ESMP Administration -> Extensions -> Installed Packages
- Select "Install Package" and install Empirum Inventory Data Provider
- Select "Install Package" and install Empirum Service Provisioning Data Provider (optional) - requires an installation of the UEM Extension 24.0.3.
