Required Network Configuration

Traffic overview

The network traffic/communication is exclusively triggered by the app and user who is using the app.

All traffic from and to the Enterprise Service Management system remains within the network premises as long as the user uses the company network. In case of external access traffic origin is a public IP address and a VPN or similar solution needs to be used.

Activity Feed notifications are sent using Microsoft Graph.

The following URLs must be accessible by the Enterprise Service Management system

Https traffic must be enabled to:

• approval.mx42.cloud
• accounts.matrix42.com (used by Matrix42 Service Connection)
• login.microsoftonline.com (used by Microsoft 365 Service Connection)
