Matrix42 GmbH is committed to making the Matrix42 Service Management Platform web application accessible.
In this effort, a review and certification of representative sections of the application was conducted on May 28, 2025, by the company Aeir based on the BIT inklusiv BITV software test.
Scope of the Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to the tested core modules of Matrix42 Service Management Platform: "Self Service Portal", "Service Catalog", "Assets", and "Licenses". The test was carried out using the "Light (nucleo)" design with the "Enhance color contrast" setting enabled, in version 12.1 Update 3.
Due to the wide range of configuration and customization options within Matrix42 Service Management Platform, individual accessibility issues may arise.

Compliance Status
Matrix42 Service Management Platform has been continuously improved since 2023 and underwent a successful accessibility evaluation on May 28, 2025.
The assessment of BITV compliance was based on the requirements of the EU Directive EN 301 549, Chapter 11, Version 3.2.1.
Accessibility Implementation Details
Matrix42 Service Management Platform was developed with the aim of being accessible to all users. Particular attention was paid to the following aspects during development and updates:
- Structured headings for improved screen reader navigation.
- Alternative texts for images and graphics.
- Full keyboard operability for all functions.
- Sufficient color contrast.
- Clear and understandable language.
Non-accessible Content
- Matrix42 Service Management Platform was primarily developed and optimized for desktop use. Display and usability on smaller devices such as smartphones or tablets may be limited.
- Due to the high level of customization, the following issues may occur:
- Insufficient contrast ratios.
- Incomprehensible or missing labels.
- Inconsistencies (e.g., with currency formatting).
- Errors in keyboard navigation.
- Missing text alternatives for graphic content.

If, after contacting the above-mentioned support, you have not received a satisfactory response, you may contact the conciliation body under § 16 of the German Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Act (BGG). The conciliation body is tasked with resolving such conflicts.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Matrix42 Service Management Platform is conformant with WCAG 2.1 (Ensured by BITV-TEST Certification) and is optimized for JAWS Screen readers , but also other Screen Readers are supported as well.
Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
