Managing status of a complex system
Overview
Every complex system has a status. When you create a complex system item, you assign a status inside the edit form. However, if you want to set another status for an existing complex system, you must use the Change Status action. A wizard will guide you through the required steps where you can also change the status of all assets, software products and services that are assigned to the complex system.

- Go to the Complex Systems navigation item in the Assets application.
- Select the complex system items where you want to change the status.
- Click the Change Status action.
- Select the new status.
- Select the Change status of all related assets checkbox and choose a value if you want to change the status of related assets.
- Select the Change status of related software checkbox and choose a value if you want to change the status of related software products.
