Installation and Update Requirements
- Recommended Version: To ensure compatibility and optimal performance, we strongly recommend installing Digital Workspace Platform version 12.1.0.3959. This version has undergone rigorous testing, offering seamless integration with our application while minimizing compatibility issues.
New Features
- Session Following in FastViewer extension for ESMP: Users can now maintain session continuity when logging out and logging in with different Windows users on the same desktop session.
- Improved DPI Awareness and Access Dialog Formatting: Enhanced support for high-DPI scaling ensures better readability, with increased space for text and improved display formatting.
- macOS Support for Bash and File Transfer: Expanded functionality now includes support for bash commands and file transfers on macOS devices.
- Notification Sound for Access Dialog (Windows): A Windows-standard notification sound is now triggered when accessing a running user session with the access dialog enabled. (Requires M42 FastViewer Desktop version 3.28.0027 or newer)
- Ad-Hoc Enhancements:
- Added 32-bit compatibility for launcher extraction.
- New functionality enables remote desktop control, file transfer, and command shell usage in ad-hoc sessions. Users can download a launcher file directly from the join dialog to activate these features.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue where a "Desktop" connection point was announced twice, e.g., after restarting a Windows PC with RDP.
- Fixed clipboard stability issues occurring in certain situations.
- Addressed problems with simultaneous uploads and downloads.
- Fixed errors encountered in specific scenarios when displaying the session end dialog in M42 FastViewer Desktop.
- Resolved a black screen issue related to codec2.
- Resolved Key Sticking Issue on macOS: Fixed an issue where keys would remain stuck after using Command + [any key]. This update ensures smoother operation and improved responsiveness when working on macOS.
- Various other bug fixes and performance optimizations to enhance user experience.
