About this Release

Matrix42 Secure Unified Endpoint Management 24.0 Update 2 provides new and improved features that have been implemented. During the development of this version, we have been focusing on valued feedback from our customers and partners to provide an ideal feature selection.

Overview

General Enhancements and Changes

  • Added dependency to Generic Inventory Data Provider and Empirum Inventory Data Provider
  • Removed activation of "Complete Inventory" action from legacy Empirum connector.
  • If there are no service connections configured in the system (which Package Cloud can use), skip sending http request.
  • Depot Servers in the Infrastructure Management list show the associated service bus node ID.

Intune App Assignment Enhancements

The assignment of Intune Apps to devices managed by Intune or co-managed with Empirum offers now the following enhancements compared to the initial preview release with version 24.0.1:

  • Intune based assignment consider the rollout plan and schedule.
  • Scheduler for Intune installation status import set to 60 minutes. Start time randomized.
  • Intune App import data provider is not enabled by default if there is no configuration set.
  • Platform information is now added to Intune Apps in Software Management.
  • Improved installation state for Intune App installation status mapping.
  • Assignments used for Intune can now contain spaces.
  • Intune App status import now possible.

Display the associated Service Bus Node ID on Depot Servers in the Infrastructure Management view.

For troubleshooting purposes it is important to identify the related depot servers service bus node ID. This is now displayed in the UEM Infrastructure navigation.

  • Fixed issue with Complete Inventory action which is not part of DWP 12.0.6 anymore and moved to the Empirum Inventory Data Provider.
