The easiest way to manage Windows clients is the use of the provided MSI package.

  • Connect via WebDAV to the Packages directory and download the appropriate MSI package from /Matrix42-Empirum/Configurator/Packages/Matrix42/EmpirumAgent/MSI/18.0/
  • Connect via WebDAV to the User directory and download the AgentConfig.xml from /Matrix42-Empirum/Configurator/user
  • Install the MSI package (and all necessary requirements) at the client and copy the AgentConfig.xml to C:\Windows\System32\Empirum
  • Install the package “Empirum Inventory” and reboot the client

Assign the Client

The client should appear after few moments at the Management Console from where you can assign it as usual.
