Remote Assistance Dashboard

Overview

To access the dashboard, you must enable New Look for the Enterprise Service Management Platform.

In the Administration application, the Dashboard available under Remote Assistance displays real-time insights into FastViewer adoption, usage, and business impact. Track key metrics, such as:

  • Session trends
  • Top users 
  • Device Activity

The available information is sourced from devices running various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.

Metrics

Each card displayed on the Remote Assistance Dashboard provides a quick overview of the number of sessions that occur in a predefined time interval, as well as the most active users and devices. You can also use the trends for each metric to keep track of their evolution.

Click on a card to open a pre-filtered, detailed list with all relevant sessions.

Sessions (last 24h)

Displays the number of remote sessions from the last 24 hours. 

Sessions (last 7 days)

Displays the number of remote sessions from the last 7 days. 

Sessions (last 30 days)

Displays the number of remote sessions from the last 30 days. 

Sessions (last year)

Displays the number of remote sessions from the last year. 

Sessions by Month

Displays a bar chart with the number of remote sessions for each month.  This card provides early signals of rising adoption or potential drop-offs.

 Click on a bar to review additional information related to sessions from the corresponding month.

Sessions by Type (last 30 days)

Displays a pie chart, where sessions are split into categories such as Adhoc Remote Assistance and Remote AssistanceThis card lets you easily understand how people use FastViewer across business scenarios in your organization.

  • Click on a slice to open a pre-filtered list of applications in a category.
  • Hover over one of the categories in the list to highlight its corresponding slice.
  • Click categories in the list to add or remove them from the pie chart.

Top Users (last 30 days)

Displays a leaderboard of employees with the highest number of sessions in the last 30 days. This card lets you identify the users and business areas that rely more heavily on FastViewer. 

Top Devices (last 30 days)

Displays a leaderboard of endpoints and assets more connected to in the last 30 days.
