Installation EM Agent
Applies for EMv6 & EMv7.
Overview
The Enterprise Manager Agent is installed on systems that are managed by the EM. Installation is optional, in addition to the SCCM Agent. The EM Agent can be installed on x86 as well as x64-bit systems, and different MSI installation media are supplied for these different systems.
Prerequisites
- For EMv6: .NET Framework 4 and Microsoft Visual Studio C ++ 2010 Redistributable
- For EMv7: .NET Framework 4.6 and Microsoft Visual Studio C ++ 2010 Redistributable
Installation Steps
To start the installation, you must launch the file "Matrix42 Enterprise Manager Agent.msi".
Then accept the licensing terms.
The EM Server must be entered manually. As EM Agent port, the default port (EMv6: 9001, EMv7: 9010) is displayed, but you can change this setting, if required.
Specify the installation directory.
Now the agent can be installed and is available once installation has been completed.
