Computers Not Assigned or Not Relevant

This message is displayed for OEM licenses only. This type of license requires assigned devices whose status is relevant for compliance. Therefore, to solve this issue, you should either add relevant devices or adjust statuses of already assigned devices.

You can add devices in the System Restrictions grid on the Availability page. Only assets that are relevant for compliance can be selected. If you are missing some device, it means that its status is not relevant for compliance.

Alternatively, if a license has assigned devices with irrelevant statuses, you can adjust statuses of devices in the Assets application.

This message is displayed for Subscription and Subscription Renewal licenses only. It means that the license validity period is in the future. You can adjust the dates by editing the Valid From and Valid Until fields in the Catalog Item section on the General page.

Invalid Company Code

This message appears if a license and its selected software are assigned to different organizational units and at least one organizational unit has an enabled company code. In this case, you need to:

  • Select the license in the grid and run the Transfer License action from the actions panel. This action allows adjusting ownership of a license.
