Data Definition

This topic guides troubleshooting (including error IDs). The provided information concerns error messages related to the installation routine. 

0003 - Data Definition - Changed Attribute

Summary
If customer has changed some properties of a predefined attribute, these changes need to be removed. This kind of change is not allowed and could harm proper functionality of application.

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
The default setting for predefined attributes should be restored by applying the AutoFix.

0004 - Pickup Data Definition - Deleted Data Entry (Value)

Summary 
If customer had deleted a predefined data entry (pickup value) from pickup Data Definition, this needs to be restored. This kind of change is not allowed and could harm proper functionality of application.

Scope
Applies to all pickup Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
Predefined values of pickup Data Definitions should be recreated by applying the AutoFix.

0005 - Pickup Data Definition - Added Data Entry (Value)

Summary
If a new data entry (pickup value) was added to a pickup Data Definition with new product version and a custom pickup value with the same value already exists in database, the custom pickup value needs to be marked as Customized.

Scope
Applies to all pickup Data Definitions.

Handling
On fixing this issue automatically, the new predefined pickup value will be created as the original version of the existing custom one. Your custom pickup value will be kept as a custom version, but please make sure that your custom pickup value is semantically compliant with the new predefined one and if not, migrate it to a new value after the update.

0007 - Data Definition - Added Attribute or Relation

Summary 
If a new attribute or relation was added to a Data Definition with new product version and a custom attribute or relation with the same name already exists in database, the custom attribute or relation needs to be renamed.

Scope 
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by product changes and customization.

Handling 
On fixing this issue automatically, the existing <Attribute/Relation> will be renamed to Ud_<Attribute/Relation Techn. Name>. This will probably harm customizations that are using this <Attribute/Relation>. Please check such customizations after the update with the highest care.

0008 - Data Definition - Changed Attribute (Rename)

Summary 
If an attribute was renamed with new product version and a custom attribute with the same name already exists in database, the custom attribute needs to be renamed.

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by product changes and customization.

Handling 
On fixing this issue automatically, the existing <Attribute>  will be renamed to  <Ud_Attribute>. This will probably harm customizations that are using this <Attribute>. Please check such customizations after the update with the highest care.

0009 - Data Definition - Removed Attribute

Summary
If customer had removed a predefined attribute from Data Definition, this needs to be restored. This kind of change is not allowed and could harm proper functionality of application.

0010 - Data Definition - Deleted

Summary

0011 - Data Definition - Removed Relation (Recreated)

Summary 
The predefined Relation has not the predefined ID. Probably this issue has appeared because relation had been deleted and recreated afterwards. This kind of change is not allowed and could harm proper functionality of application.

Handling
Relation ID needs to be restored by applying the AutoFix.

0012 - Data Definition - Removed Relation

Summary
If customer had removed a predefined relation from Data Definition, this needs to be restored. This kind of change is not allowed and could harm proper functionality of application.

Relation needs to be restored by applying the AutoFix.

0016 - Pickup Data Definition - Deleted Data Entry (Value) 

Summary
If customer had deleted a predefined data entry (pickup value) from customizable pickup Data Definition, this needs to be restored. This kind of change is not allowed and could harm proper functionality of application.

Applies to all customizable pickup Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
This object is necessary to ensure proper functionality of the application and needs to be restored by applying the AutoFix.

0017 - Pickup Data Definition - Changed Data Entry (Value)

Summary
If customer has changed some properties of a predefined pickup value, these changes needs to be marked as Customized.

Applies to all Customizable pickup Data Definitions.

Handling
The original version of this object is necessary to ensure the proper functionality of the application. Your changes will be kept as a customized version of this object by applying the AutoFix.

0023 - Data Definition - Changed

Summary
If customer has changed some properties of a predefined Data Definition, these changes needs to be reverted.

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
The original version of the changed values is necessary to ensure proper functionality of the application and needs to be restored by applying the AutoFix. Your changes will be kept as custom values.

0030 - Data Definition - New

Summary
If a new Data Definition was introduced with new product version and a custom Data Definition with the same name already exists in database the custom Data Definition needs to be renamed.

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by product changes.

Handling
On fixing this issue automatically, the existing Data Definition will be renamed to Ud_DDTechn. Name. This will probably harm customizations that are using this data definition. Please check such customizations after the update with the highest care.

0031 - Data Definition - Changed (Renamed)

Summary
If a Data Definition was renamed with new product version and a custom Data Definition with the same name already exists in database the custom Data Definition needs to be renamed.

Applies to all Data Definitions.

Handling

0036 - Data Definition - Changed Relation (Rename)

Summary
If relation was renamed with new product version and a custom relation with the same name already exists in database, the custom relation needs to be renamed.

On fixing this issue automatically, the existing <Relation> will be renamed to <Ud_RelationTechn.Name>. This will probably harm customization that are using this <Relation>. Please check such customizations after the update with the highest care.

0038 - Data Definition - Removed Attribute

Summary
If customer had removed a predefined attribute from Data Definition and then added new attribute with the same name but a different ID, this needs to be fixed. 

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
The predefined attribute ID needs to be restored by applying the AutoFix.

0041 - Data Definition - Changed Attribute (Reduced Data Length)

Summary
If the data length of an attribute was reduced with new product version and there are values in database that exceed this data length.

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by product changes.

Handling
In the new version of application, the data length of the predefined attribute will be reduced. Existing data needs to be automatically truncated.

0053 - Data Definition - Recreated

Summary
The predefined Data Definition has a wrong ID. Probably this issue has appeared because an object had been deleted and recreated afterwards.

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.

Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
Data Definition ID needs to be restored by applying the AutoFix.

0055 - Data Definition - Deleted (Manual)

Summary
The predefined Data Definition is missing. This kind of change is not allowed and could harm proper functionality of application. The relation constraints of this class cannot be autofixed. It is advised to manually fix this problem.

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
Manually fix the issue: please fix the NotNullable relation constraint and finish installation afterwards by applying the AutoFix. Please get in contact with Matrix42 support if necessary.

0056 - Data Definition - Deleted (Manual)

Summary
The predefined Data Definition is missing. This kind of change is not allowed and could harm proper functionality of application. Because its ID is reused for a different Data Definition it cannot be autofixed. It is advised to manually fix this problem

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
Manually fix the issue: change ID of the conflicting Data Definition or delete it. Finish installation afterwards by applying the AutoFix. Please get in contact with Matrix42 support if necessary.

0070 - Data Definition - Recreated Relation with misconfiguration

Summary
The predefined relation has not the predefined ID and cardinality. Probably this issue appeared because relation had been deleted and recreated afterwards.

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
On fixing this issue automatically, the existing relation will be renamed to Ud_<Relation Techn.Name> and the original relation will be restored. This will probably harm customizations that are using this relation. Please check such customizations after the update with the highest care.

0071 - Pickup Data Definition - Changed System Data Entry (Value)

Summary
If customer has changed any properties of a predefined system pickup data entry except the value, these changes need to be marked as Customized.

Scope
Applies to all system pickup Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
The original version of this object is necessary to ensure the proper functionality of the application. Your changes will be kept as a customized version of this object by applying the AutoFix.

0072 - Pickup Data Definition - Deleted System Data Entry (Value)

Summary
If customer had deleted a predefined data entry (pickup value) from system pickup Data Definition, this needs to be restored.

Scope
Applies to all system pickup Data Definitions.

0073 - Pickup Data Definition - Recreated Data Entry

Summary
System pickup DD contains a predefined entry that has not the predefined ID. Probably this issue appeared because pickup value had been deleted and recreated afterwards.

Handling
This kind of change is not allowed. The original version of this pickup value needs to be restored by applying the AutoFix.

0075 - Data Definition - Changed Attribute Type 

Summary
The predefined attribute does not have the predefined data type.

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
On fixing this issue automatically, the existing attribute will be renamed to Ud_<Relation Techn.Name> and assigned a new ID. The predefined attribute will be restored. This will probably harm customizations that are using this attribute. Please check such customizations after the update with the highest care.

0076 - Data Definition - Changed Attribute Not-Nullable Constraint

Summary
The predefined attribute has a wrong Not-Null constraint.

Scope
Applies to all Data Definitions.
Detects problems caused by customer changes.

Handling
The original Not-Null constraint needs to be restored by applying the AutoFix.

0077 - Pickup Data Definition - Added Data Entry (Value)

Summary
If a new data entry (pickup value) was added to a system pickup Data Definition with new product version and a custom pickup value with the same value already exists in the database, the custom pickup value needs to be replaced with the predefined one.

Scope
Applies to all system pickup Data Definitions.

Handling
For system pickups custom values are not allowed. On fixing this issue automatically, your custom pickup value will be replaced by the predefined one. Please check any related customizations for proper functionality.
