Viewing dependencies for cloud services
Overview
The Dependency Graph extension is installed along with the Azure Inventory extension and enables end users to visualize relations between cloud services.
The Dependency Graph feature has been configured so that it is possible to see the following dependencies:
- between a cloud service and cloud services that are interrelated to it,
- between a cloud service and cloud services that are managed by this service,
- between a cloud service and its managing cloud service,
- between a cloud service and a corresponding virtual machine.
How to see the dependencies between cloud services
In the Assets application, navigate to Cloud Services, select a desired service and run the Show Dependency Map action for it. As a result, you will see a diagram of relations between the selected cloud services and objects connected to it.
You can also run this action in the Licenses application under Technical Inventory > Cloud Services.
