Service Bus IV: Configure Silverback
Service Bus
- Open your Silverback Management Console
- Login as Settings Administrator
- Navigate to Service Bus
- Enable the Service Bus
- Select Azure or RabbitMQ
- Enter your previously copied Connection String
- e.g. for Azure, the connection string has the following format:

Endpoint=sb://imagoverum.servicebus.windows.net/;SharedAccessKeyName=matrix42.suem.policy; SharedAccessKey=9ZkqFhzfOA7T8x6tOb/8p04qMwstrJBs02o8uhminuU=;EntityPath=matrix42.suem.topic
- e.g. for RabbitMQ, the connection has the following format:

amqp://rabbitmq:password@rabbitmq.imagoverum.com/matrix42
- Enter as Topic/Exchange your previously created topic
- e.g matrix42.suem.topic
- Enter as Subscription/Queue your previously created subscription
- e.g. matrix42.silverback.subscription
- Adjust your Instance Display Name (optional)
- Press Save
- Confirm with OK
- Press Sync All Data
For the Azure Service Bus Type, you can check also upfront the connection by pressing the Check Connection button.
After pressing Sync All Data, the subscription for matrix42.uux.subscription will collect all messages from Silverback, which will be processed later when you add the Service Bus Connection to the UUX within the Next Steps.
